Is it My Lucky Day?
Today I found a $10 bill on the ground at Target. I looked around and saw nobody nearby. I picked up the $10 bill and found the nearest cashier and told her I found the money. She shrugged and said "keep it." So I did. I plan to give the money to a charity or church, but did I do the right thing? What would you have done?

I think you appropriated (and I mean the take possession of form of the verb) the right decision. What was the alternative? leave it? I know if I lost 10 bucks I'd want it to go to a charity or the like. Job well done
