Quotes from Barack Obama

The thought that a man who would make the following comments could be our next president is very frightening to me!
-----------------------------------------
"If [my daughters] make a mistake, I don't want them punished with a baby."

Q: Do you personally believe that life begins at conception?

A: This is something that I have not come to a firm resolution on. I think it's very hard to know what that means, when life begins. Is it when a cell separates? Is it when the soul stirs? So I don't presume to know the answer to that question.

He also supports teaching sex education to KINDERGARTENERS... these kids don't even know how to read yet! Terrible! Obama is Terribly wrong on practically every single important social issue of our time. We can not let this man become president.

----------------

ABC News' Teddy Davis and Lindsey Ellerson Report: Sen. Barack Obama, D-Ill., told Planned Parenthood Tuesday that sex education for kindergarteners, as long as it is "age-appropriate," is "the right thing to do."

"I remember Alan Keyes . . . I remember him using this in his campaign against me," Obama said in reference to the conservative firebrand who ran against him for the U.S. Senate in 2004. Sex education for kindergarteners had become an issue in his race against Keyes because of Obama’s work on the issue as chairman of the health committee in the Illinois state Senate.

"'Barack Obama supports teaching sex education to kindergarteners,'" said Obama mimicking Keyes' distinctive style of speech. "Which -- I didn’t know what to tell him (laughter)."

"But it’s the right thing to do," Obama continued, "to provide age-appropriate sex education, science-based sex education in schools."

hmmm...too bad he's our president! I'M SOOOOO EXCITED! and i don't see anything wrong with his programs.
Have you looked outside the surburbs to see when the kids are starting to talk about sex? When i was growing up, guys were loosing their virginities at the age of 12 or 13, I can' only imagine how early it is now! Also, who can concretely pinpoint the time at which life begins? If you're christian, then it means as soon as that egg is fertilized, if you're one that believes in science, and scienctific facts, which can be PROVEN, then you believe in what science tells, but if not, then you believe in whatever your religion tells you. I think he's pretty smart on saying exactly at what time it starts. nobody knows, so can he? people make a big deal about him being president, and yet, the same damn people were willing to vote for a woman that didn't, excuse me, doesn't, believe in global warming!!! R U SERIOUS??? oh yah, and let's not forget, Palin can see Russia from her backyard, and thought that Africa was a COUNTRY! wow...that's who we would have rather had as president?!?!? I'M SO GLAD OBAMA WON!

You are excited that a man who supports killing innocent lives is our president? You don't see anything wrong with his programs? It is very sad that children are losing their innocence at a younger age. I realize that this is a reality, but do you not think that this could be in part because of these "sex education" courses and public schools who promote sex? It is the responsibility of parents to educate their children about sexual education. We should teach our children about a true loving relationship with others that does not involve sex until marriage and does not promote promiscuous behavior. Science can prove that life begins at conception. SCIENCE! For Obama to evade the question proves that he can not escape the reality of the sinfulness of abortion. What does science tell YOU about abortion? Who and what is science anyway? You would rather place all your trust in this "science" instead of God? Christians trust in God. Science confirms our beliefs. Obama was very smart in his answers because he never answers the question. If people really knew what Obama believed about abortion, I wonder if they would have voted him president. Now that he is president, I pray for his conversion. You are glad Obama won, I am glad that Jesus Christ is my savior and I'm also glad for your sake that your mother chose life. You know we all were once just a fertilized egg inside our mother. Life does begin at conception. It is a fact and those who refuse to accept it as fact are simply deceiving themselves. If FOCA passes, we can expect to see 30% of our hospitals close down, we can expect terrible health care, we can expect our tax dollars going towards abortions, and we can expect future bills that deny people the basic right to life. We could possibly even see a situation like that of China where the government has control over the number of children a family can have. THESE THINGS ARE SOMETHING YOU SUPPORT? THIS IS WHY YOU'RE GLAD OBAMA IS PRESIDENT? We must place our trust in Jesus that he has a plan for us. Maybe Obama will have a conversion like that of St. Paul. We must continue to pray and stand up for life at all stages. God bless you all!

By the way, Palin was not running for president but as vice president. I would've thought someone who's done so much research on the issues would have known as much. For your information, I would proudly vote for a person who thought Africa was a country as opposed to someone who supported the killing of innocent lives even if that person was the most "intelligent" man on earth. To me, that shows a great lack of intelligence and a radical view in which few share. I pray that Obama does good for our country and also hope he has a conversion of heart on many serious issues especially on abortion, but I don't wish bad things upon anyone. Thank you for taking the time to visit my blog.

I'm more concerned about people who don't want kindergartners to learn that it's wrong when their uncle touches them in a "private place."
